Cooperstown Comprehensive Plan – Project Update

The Village of Cooperstown, in partnership with Otsego Now, is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan and preparing a Downtown Revitalization Strategy. Phase I of the project — Project Organization and Public Outreach — was completed in January 2015. The first phase of the project was designed to gain a better understanding of the community’s strengths, weaknesses and areas in need of improvement. Springbrook Eyes Bonds for Expansion Project

Springbrook is requesting bond funding for several upcoming projects that are designed to increase student and family access to housing, services and specialized health care, officials said. May 9, 2016 (Oneonta, NY) – The New York State Economic Development Council (NYSEDC) recently announced that Otsego Now has been named a recipient of several 2016 Marketing, Literature and Promotion Awards. In the months since our launch event last year, the Otsego Now Regional Workforce Training Center has been in a state of metamorphosis and evolution. Our second-year plan has called for a significant amount of business outreach, as well as meetings with prospective education partners, to forge the relationships we need to move forward. On February 26, 2016, the Chenango-Delaware-Otsego Workforce Development Board gathered a room full of leaders from local manufacturers before a panel of people charged in one way or another with workforce development and/or employee training.
