First Stage of Oneonta Rail Yards Gets Approved

Developers are looking to create a new industrial/commercial business park that would create new jobs for Oneonta. Along with creating jobs, the rail yards would provide additional markets for Otsego County, and add to the local tax base. Otsego Now Opens Workforce Training Center

Seward announced the award of a $100,000 legislative grant to support the Center, an award that supplements a $47,500 grant from Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Regional Economic Development Council initiative.
